White vs brown almond butter
White or brown almond butter? There are two versions of our almond butter - white and brown. The big question: what is the difference? It is really pretty simple. For the brown version of almond butter, unpeeled almonds are roasted and processed into a creamy paste. This gives our brown almond butter a strong, nutty almond flavour. For the white almond butter, we use peeled, blanched almonds. This provides a slightly sweeter flavour. We really can't decide which of the two is more delicious, but one thing is certain: both are worth tasting and you can choose which one is your personal favorite!

White almond butter is great as a spread for bread. But the nut paste has more to offer, whether in cakes, muffins, biscuits or desserts. These almonds are the largest almonds available on the market
Global almond production is led by California, with over 2/3 of global production; buy why? This is probably due to a combination of large cultivation areas, easy mechanical harvest, and comparably low wages. Also, unlike many other parts of the world, water is not a scarce commodity in California. After the USA as the front runner in almond production, we find Spain, Morocco, Iran and Turkey. A total of around 2.2 million tons of almonds are harvested worldwide every year!

Many conventional nut butters contain palm oil as a cheap ingredient to get a more spreadable result: bur almond puree does not need this, so that literally nothing except from almonds in the glass! And one thing is clear: the incredibly creamy texture of our nut puree does not suffer at all.

You achieve weight loss goals primarily through a calorie deficit. Almond paste, like most nut musts, has a relatively high calorie density. Unopened, our almond cream will keep for at least 12 months. The exact best before date is to be found on the product itself. After opening, this almond butter will keep for about seven months.
You should store your almond paste in a cool place after opening. It may well be that some oil has settled on the almond paste – just stir in and enjoy!
The difference is that in the brown almond paste, the almond kernels are processed with skin. They are usually lightly roasted and not blanched. Our white almond paste, on the other hand, consists of blanched almond kernels.
